kitty cat christmas
One more mini christmas collection. I’d hoped to do a few more coordinates but holiday activities got in the way. Maybe I’ll revisit it next year and add some more.
This pattern collection is inspired by a brief in Victoria Johnson’s Create Christmas 3. It was fun using different elements and colors for a different take on holiday decoration.
The main pattern in this collection is my entry for the Spoonflower Holidays Around the World Challenge. I added some coordinates mostly for practice because I’m new at this.
bright marker floral pattern
I wanted to create a more hand-drawn looking, raster floral print using pens and markers. I’ve been experiment with lots of new markers lately and used many different brands with many different tips on this floral.
I’m still working with a “more is more” aesthetic when I create coordinating patterns so for this one I really went after the rich, bright colors and biggish shapes.
This 2-pattern collection was created for the Explore Florals 2 Class.
first pattern collection
This is my first try at a coordinated collection. Bright, vintage style flowers, ticking-inspired stripes, teeny flowers on red and a funky dandelion burst pattern on mustardy yellow.
This vintage-style floral pattern is inspired by the patterns and colors of the 70s. I’ve created some coordinating patterns that are equally bold and busy. The prints from the 70s were big and fun and the colors were questionable but I’m loving them again!
